Let me know the health check up schedule.

Available in IROHA (Procedures>R6 personnel>Personnel management>Annual health checkup).

Let me know the time required for the health check up.

About 40 min from chek in thorughout the procedures. Note that the required time may change due to the number of examinees. Please make sure to give yourself enough time to get a checkup.

I failed to log in to the online reservation/questionnaire system.

Please try followings.
・Restart the browser.
・Access through the other browser (if available).
・Access from your smartphone or another PC. 
If they do not work, contact us by e-mail (health@hiroshima-u.ac.jp).

If I change the reservation date, should I re-enter the online questionnaire?

No, you need not to re-enter the online questionnaire when you change the reservation date.

Is a health checkup mandatory?

The Japanese Industrial Safety and Health Act notes that it is an obligation for employees to get health chekups. Please do take an annual checkup (twice a year if are supposed to take).

I belong to Higashi-Hiroshima campus (or Kasumi campus). Can I get a health checkup in Higashi-Senda campus?

No, you cannot get a chekup in Higashi-Senda campus since the acceptable number of examinees is limited. In contrast, those who belong to Higashi-Senda campus can get a checkup in Higashi-Hiroshima or Kasumi campus.

Where can I get a urine test kit (Pee-Pole)?

A urine test kit will not be distributed individually.
（Regular checkups）Available at each department and Health Service Center.
（Special checkups）Available at each department and Health Service Center.

I failed to collect a morning urine sample.

We can still examine the urine sample collected later.

If I am in a menstruation period on the health checkup day, can I cancel a urine test?

Within 3 days before/after menstruation periods, we will examine the other indexes than a uric blood. Thus, please submit a urine sample and inform us that you are in menstruation period at the reception.

Can I submit a urine sample other than the designated day?

Sorry for inconvenience but we cannot accept a urine sample other than the designated days. We appreciate for your understanding.

When and where can I receive the results and a certificate of the health checkup?

The results will be available to you about 3 weeks after the checkup. When it will be ready, we will inform you how to check the results via “IROHA” or it will be sent to you by in-campus mail. If the results will not be available for more than a month, please contact Health Service Center (health@hiroshima-u.ac.jp).

I cannot attend the health checkup at the designated days.

Please contact to the Welfare Group, Personnel Department.

I hava only one sample for occult blood test or sputum test.

Please submit the sample that you have at the checkup day. We will still examine the sample.

I have eaten breakfast at the day of my gastric X-ray examination reservation.

After eating breakfast, you cannot get a gastric X-ray examination because there is food in your stomach and it can’t be examined correctly.

I have taken medical exmaminations that are included in the checkup (e.g. chest X-ray) in an outside hospital in this year. Can I omit such examinations in the university checkup?

Yes, you can omit those examinations. Please let us know about it at the checkup reception. Please submit the results of the omitted examinations to Health Service Center.

I have already gotten a checkup in the other insutitution this year. Do I need to attend the university checkup?

You don’t need to attend the university checkup if you submit the result of the checkup to us. 

I cannot attend the health checkup due to an official duty.  What shall I need to do?
